Frankly, it's shameful that Best Buy and Amazon are selling computers with only 8 GB of RAM for new Computers. That is the bare minimum to run Windows. 16 GB is a more realistic bare mininum, with 24-32 GB being a more reasonable amount to do email and web surfing. The maximum that Windows 11 can accomodate is 128 GB, however some motherboard manufactures limit a new computer to just 64 GB.
If a Laptop path is chosen, then a hi-res Monitor, Adapter, and Articulated Arm are recommended
